This great looking one ton is Scott VanSsickle's work truck. It started life as a 69-70 C/10. Scott traded the 1/2 chassis for a 1988 step van chassis to have a strong enough foundation to use it in his construction business. As you can see he added a dump bed on it and further specifications include: 1978 350ci engine, bored .30 over with LT1 connecting rods, steel crank, and 2.02 heads. The engine also has a 480 lift cam, Edelbrock carburetor and manifold. It is pushed along with a 4 speed transmission. He originally built it's engine for a 72 El Camino, and will some day replace it with something a little more suiting a dump truck. Scott tell me that it attracts a lot of attention, and dare we say, I wonder why?
