This 71 Suburban belongs to Ryan Carley. Ryan purchased this truck from Classic Heartbeat as a Green 71 Big Block GMC Suburban, 2 wheel drive. Ryan likes the looks of the 69-70 Chevy so while it went under it's transformation to a 4X4 he changed the nose to look like the Chevy. He also likes the "Rat Rod" look so he painted it flat black. This truck has a Big Block 402, with T-400 Transmission and 205 transfer case. Ryan has added an 8" lift kit so that it can clear the 40" Irocs. Future plans include a Classic Heartbeat Cowl Induction hood and perhaps another 4" lift and 44" tires. We know what kind of work Ryan had to do to accomplish this transformation, and he has done a great job so far. We look forward to watching this project progress along in the future.
