This show winning truck belongs to Robert Smith Jr. He spent every day after work for 3 months at the body shop building this truck. He tells us that it was a long exhausting process, but was worth every minute of it. (We definitely agree!) Here is a list of improvements that Robert provided to us to make this beauty a show winner: He installed a ZZ4 350 crate engine, upgraded to 1.6 Crane aluminum roller rockers, March billet aluminum under drive pulleys, Holley by Inglese, 650 cfm, vacuum secondary, elec. choke 4bbl carb, 11"x6" K&N air filter with filter top. The Dyno test results show 282 hp and 342 lb/feet tq at rear wheels. Other improvements include: A MSD 6AL ignition, rev limit set at 5900rpm, Jasper built TH-350 tranny with a 2200 rpm stall converter, Richmond 3.73 gears, with a Powertrax locking differential, Dynomax Jet Hot coated headers, 2.5" true dual exhaust, 2 chamber Flomaster's, 3" diameter x 18" long stainless exhaust tips. It has also been lowered 4" in rear and 3" in front and has front and rear sway bars, with 16x8 American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels with 235-55 Goodyear's to round out the suspension. The fuel system modifications include: a Blazer poly tank conversion, gas fill behind marker light, Holley Blue electric fuel pump with 1/2" aluminum fuel line. To cool this beast he uses duel 12" electric fans mounted to one of our aluminum dual electric cooling fan shrouds, with a heavy duty Walker 4 core radiator. He also installed an Old Air A/C (and heat) kit and says it is worth every penny and very easy to install!! For the interior he installed a Billet Specialties, billet aluminum 3rd brake light inside rear window, Billet Specialties, billet aluminum rear view mirror, Grant Mahogany steering wheel, Alpine CD Head unit, 2 Alpine amps and 10" Rockford sub (amps and sub fit perfectly where gas tank used to be behind seat), Kick panel speakers fitted with 120W Pioneer speakers, 6x8 Pioneer 3-way speakers mounted in cab corner area and fitted a repro gauge cluster with Autometer Phantom Gauges and shift light. This truck also has a fiberglass cowl induction hood, Painted grille, No body trim, fender or hood emblems, Tailgate Cap to smooth it off, relocated handle to inside of tailgate. Whew!!! What else can you say but WOW!! Robert also tells us that if anyone has any questions about his truck or would like some more info about it, feel free to e-mail him at: smithrc25@hotmail.com
