Another old photo of the 48

My cousin's widow posted some old family photos on Facebook in the past few days and this one was in the batch.

1984 and my Aunt Jean was standing with my 48 in my then back yard in Zillah, Wa during a family reunion at my house.


That was my 51 Merc coupe that I had from the time I was 16 and sold after 32 years behind her.

Nice old picture. For some reason I didn't think your 48 was a chop top but I can see in this picture it is, or at least was..lol WES

It's chopped four inches. I'll probably redo that cab with pieces off the doner cab after I get the latest version finished. I'll have a good firewall to replace the one I hacked up installing a firewall mounted power brake unit and moving the steering. The cab as it sits now is a bit of a disaster area due to too many quick and nasty patch jobs back when I didn't have a lot of time, money or patience. We learn a lot along the way on these things.
