say wes if you're on here today, left message on answer on shop number, ill need a set of body mounts for the 85 k-5,one out of the 4 is junk. while were at it, might as well throw in left and right cab corners [inner and outers] and left and right fender repair panels,my cell# is on you're work phone. now the new year has started, i best get krackin. im going to buy a 56 jimmy 4x4 with the big back window from a biker bud at wenatchee, after the weather gets a little better, pretty rough but nice doors, heater, glass, bench seat ect. im looking at chevy vans for steering collumn this week, pondering over what would work for wire harnness after i get collumn located.

One of those nice shovels yours, hawgfarmer?
I got a 63 duoglide, 78 lowrider project, and 01 RK.

Excellent job on the front cab mounts.

6" new snow last night, more work to do.

If you had turned and headed for Goldendale you would have gone past the house in about two minutes.

My truck is a mess right now and more of an accumulation of parts rather than anything that can be called a truck. I need to get my garage straightened out so I can get in and out without climbing over things. Too much stuff in a tiny one car garage.

there i was upside under the dash of the donor blazer with my arms wraped up around the steering column [removing brake booster rod] when this big bird dog of my buddy's decided he wanted to run over the top of me , then had to stick his head under the dash and wash the side of my head.
nothing like drool running down you're neck when pulling parts!!!
found another collmn from later model gmc that a friend drug in.
pulled 55 collumn and started lining things up[ little angle to the dangle ]
will have to use collumn support with brake arm from blazer.
i guess we dont have to, its there and im a tight wad these days.
going to move on for now and do some paint removing and drink some frosty's

three layers of lead base using 36 grit to strip and wire wheel on tight spots, then air plane stripper[chemical paint remover] on the hood and cab top so we dont get warping from heat created from spinning wheel.
these two pics is a half hours worth of removing

the tough part to me, is getting up and just and actualy putting my hands on the project, then its down hill from there.
SNOWING OUT!!! did'nt see that coming?
maybe ill just sit right here and stare at this screen and have another cup of coffee???
say wes & 48 there is a jeep coming together right beside mine, this is what my engine should look like in the spring
now that makes me want to get up and start wrenchin!!!!!!

little done today, only had 4 hours
pulled and gutted left door
stripped back of cab to metal
stripped paint on right door
cut out left cab corner
cut out left inner panal
pulled front and rear windows
rolled him outside and cleaned work area
went to red lobster for take out

sets pretty high but when we get mockup done,we will strip to frame and pull that 4 in. lift out and back with stock springs, then 18 in. wheels will raise 1 1/2 so it will be 2 1/2in. lower than it sets now.
that sea food platter was pretty good too!
