67-72 C-20 front end swap ?!?

I have a 67 C-20 Three-Quarter-Ton 8x6.5 Lug pattern front end, with hub brakes; my question is this: Can I take the complete front end cross member and all out of a 73-87 and put it in place of the old unit without any modifications ??? Are there certain years that are better donors than others (like Hydroboost brake systems or serviceable joints) ??? This will be a daily driver expected to be used for many years of hard work and my plan is disc brakes all the way around with the option of new calipers and rotors in the future when money and time allows. Any help, tech tips or advice will be appreciated .
I recently found a '77 C-20 with a low mile OEM front end ready to roll under my truck and was told, "it should fit with no problem". I want to be sure because I can't afford to play around, and I don't want to alter my all original '67 with some half-assed hack job !!! My Sincerest Thanks, Cowboy*

I take it your main concern is changing to disk brakes and suspension parts that arn't tired.
You could start by measuring both and comparing your measurements.
There is a thread on swapping parts on Half tons that is current. Check that and the same info should apply to 3/4 tons.
It seems like one series has a different width of frame rails at the crossmember though.

I've got a 70 C10 that I'm working on, and I picked up a set of upper and lower control arms, spindles, and springs from a 79 C10 at a junk yard. All the measurements seem to match, and it looks to me like they'll bolt right in! Any other comments would be appreciated.

1/2 and 3/4 ton frames are same

1 ton is same in the front

same cradle 10-30 series

yes the entire cradle 73-up will bolt onto the 63-72 frames

minor hole egging out is all that is needed on a couple holes, and the brake hoses munt differently is all

otherwise easy

you can evne use the 73-up engine mount setups as well

just drill the two needed holes in the frame rail tops to bolt the stands down

done this on a 68 i had, and i also did the opposite on a '76 once, used 67-72 stands to put a 250 in it haha
