my current project

this has been taking most of my time lately...thanks wes for the rear qtrs...the car is close to paint now..it started in november of 09..soon as its done im going back to work on the 67 truck..so im gettin kind of excited to work on the truck...the car is close!!

how it looked last year



rear qtr replacement...



thru in a fresh 455...

how it sits now..will have color in next week...

Looks great!! Great job of stitching the quarters in. That takes a huge amount of patients to do without warping such a large panel. My hat is off to you. WES

You did an amazing job of welding in that Q panel. I am faced with a few issues on my 67 GTO Convertible like the tail lite panel and the floor boards but I think they will be easy compared to a quarter panel. Looks Great and cant wait to see the finished product.

car is finally painted!! wetsanding and buffing in progress.then on to reassembly!

my buddy has been cutting and rubbing the car...got most of it finished...it amazes me how much paint changes with wet sanding and polishing...wow...hopefully in the next 3 weeks,ill have the new vinyl top on,bumpers,interior back in and glass in it...then i can drive it!!

Sounds great!! I have heard that it is real difficult to install a vynal top... You have your work cut out for you.. WES

paint is all cut and rubbed now...got the nose put together the other day,so this week will be the vinyl top,glass,rear bumper,and interior..then she will be ready to drive!! soon as i get this thing all buttoned up the 67 will be back in the garage!!
