If a truck is lowered 1 or 2 inches, does it need a different shock?

Hey Chris!
I have always been told that if you stay 2.000" or less, the stock shocks would be fine. Anything more and you will need to replace with "lowered" shocks. That way the shock is back in the "middle" of its travel.
Hope this helps.....

If ya need, I can see if KYB makes a shock for a 2" lowered set-up. http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks Shane and Racedvl, I am still in the deciding stage. 2 inches would definately be the max of my drop.
