Has anyone tried this swap....measurement wise..its close...the 87 seat appears to be about 2 inches narrower..side to side...and about 1 1/2 inches deeper..just wondering if anybody has seen(tried) this swap.

Don't hold your breath on this one. The 69 has a flat floor, the 87 is anything but flat.
It could be done, but probably not worth the effort.

I have heard that you can take a 73-87 bench and bolt it to the 67-72 bench tracks. But I have no proof of it working. Just an idea.
