SOmeone advised me on this before, but I've lost the information. In considering repair, build manuals, what do you reccommend? I've currently got a 70-87 Chilton, what are some other good guides?

Your best bet I would use is Chevrolet Service and or Overhaul Manuals. These are the most complete books out there for all info and all you'll ever need! You should be able to find them in good used condition for $15 to $25 dollars on the board or at your swap meets.
