Hey ole red,
Just finished emailing with Downtown, he has found a 72 burb with lots of parts on it. It still has the headliner,(all are white), he said he would like to help save what he can before it gets crushed. Email him at brown5550@juno.com

Hey I spotted a 69 or 70 suburban at a local salvage yard here in town that I didn't even knew I had. It has a headliner in it but dont know if it is stock. Looks good has all the trim. If I remember it right it was white with little holes from front to back.
When I say holes like factory holes.
Let me know if you want me to check.

Hey Blazin 72,
Yes,, that is a factory headliner. If you are there again, please check on it and see what they are asking for it. The plastic strips that hold it up are very easy to break, and are hard to find in good shape. There are alot of burb owners looking for parts, what is left on the burb you saw? Thanks.

Mr Speed
I will check it out and get back to everybody here on the message board.
I was out looking for a rearend for my 72 K5 and stumbled across this. I didn't look it over real good, but did look through the side glass and noticed the headliner was good and had the trim pieces still in place across the top. If there is something specific anybody wants me to check on I will, I have to go back out there.

Ok
I finally got back to the salvage yard today to check out the suburban. It's a 71 model
the trim pieces for the headliner look to me to be in excellent shape. The headliner it self looks to be good but its warped but not broken.
It has the flip up rear hatch with the hinges that seems to look good but the body itself is no good.
The trim on the outside under the window line is excellent shape all the way around.
If there is anything else you want me to check on let me know.
