My truck just seems to be all kiddi wonkus and you seem to be the one on this site who knows alot about the wiring schematics of my C-10.

When the ground wire coming off of my battery is hooked up the radio runs all of the time and has to be shut off manually when the truck is shut off, but my windshield wipers and my blowere work in acc.

When I unhook the ground the radio shuts of when I have the key in the "off" position, but nothing, not even my blower or my windshield wipers work in acc.

Now shutting off my radio manually doesnt really bother me but it lets me know that something just aint right.

I have a wire that plugs into my fuse box it is red and runs directly to my battery it seems to only run the maker lights and the gauge cluster lights, but something wierd is this is also the wire that when hooked to my ground wire makes my radio either shut off in "off" and have no Acc. Or not turn off in "off" and have Acc. Yet it only seems to affect the lights when plugged into different areas of the fuse box. For example when it is plugged into the Cluster feed like you explained the marker lights and Gauge cluster lights stay on and dont shut off at all I assume this is the right place to have the wire but then what do I do about the lights staying on all the time as well as the radio.

Whats more like I mentioned before this wire affects the lights so when it is plugged in the lights are on but when it is not plugged in they are off. Now I solve this problem by plugging the wire in to the Ign. Unfused port but when I unplug this wire the radio stays on! this is the wire that affects the radio on the basis of whether or not it is hooked to the ground.

If there is any possible way you can work this out you can obviously tell me here or you can E-mail me at odocoilusvirginianus@yahoo.com and if you would like to discuss this more directly we can get some sort of messenger thing going because as you can see I have issues and you seem to have a firm base in this kind of stuff so please keep in touch.

Hi longhorn If your radio has a clock in it you will have one red and one blue wire Sometimes the colors might not be the same
Your blue wire will go to your battery with a fuss inline somewere in your blue wire.
And your red wire will go to to your Key ING.
All you have to do is go to your fuss block and turn on your key to ACC and check with a tester and see if it is hot then turn off your Key and see if it go's off. The Blue wire is for your Clock in your radio. And if you dount have a clock in your radio then you will just have a red wire with will go to your Key. I hope that this helps and you have a very good and safe weekend. harleyman.
