Hi my name is Greg. I saw your posting mentioning that you are parting out some trucks. My girl friend just bought a 72 3/4 and it looks like she got screwed. The engine is toast. I'm not a mechanic so I can't save her any bucks. One of the shops I usually deal with is talking about $4000 to swap in a long block. have you got any engines worth looking at? or other ideas?

At one time I dealt with a remanufaturing company in Spokane that had very good prices and as I remember they had 396-402 engines for a good price. The name wa Motor Werks and was on the south side of the city. Sorry I no longer have the number but you can get it from 411.
