Does anyone know if there was ever a company that produced quarter panels for the 69-72 Blazer other than General Motors? I recently purchased a NOS pair that left me with a few questions.
There was a company that was selling Blazer quarter halves, but thats it that I know of. What are you questioning? WES

Thanks Wes, The quarters that I purchased are complete full quarters. What left me in question was that the front piece that the striker plate is mounted to has to be transfered from my old quarters. As an example, on the left side that would be the piece that has the vin tag riveted to it that is 31 inches tall, and the same piece on the passengers side. I was wondering if they all came that way.
The complete quarters do. If you purchased just skins (witch were availible through GM) then you would use your existing door pillars. Remember to contact your local licensing agency for your state laws about transfering vin tags from your Blazer to the new quarter. WES

Thats where I am a little confused, when you say just skins I think just the outer skin, these are complete inner and outer. Transfering the vin tag should not be a problem. I can transfer that whole door jam piece into the front of the new quarter without disturbing the rivets. Thanks Wes, as my project starts to advance I will be ordering some parts.
Sounds good. Transfering vin tags, I know in Washington is illegal without going through the proper proceedures. It can be big trouble from this state or at the verry least a major pain in the behind if not done according to state law. I do not know about IL. though. I was just cautioning you to look into what the state laws concerning that is. It is better to know up front than to try to fix something in hind site. :banghead: WES
