what is the best and cheapest way. i want to try to save all my grille pieces and wax trhem before winter. if i don't i can figure on finding the whole thing next summer if i want it to be nice looking.

This may sound crazy but it works...It wont be perfect but it looks good...Take aluminum foil and roll it in a loose ball approx. the size of a tennis ball. Then dip it in vinegar and begin lightly rubbing it on the grill. You can work on the pressure as you go. Good luck....
