This is the front suspension clip on a 1953 Chevy panel I bought. I would very much like to know what this clip is- I have heard it is a caddy clip, or a chevy pick-up clip.
Any ideas would be appreciated
It is not a Chevy or GMC front clip. I do not know about the caddy clip though. WES

It may be 76/80 Cad Seville. I think the hole in the center steering link for a steering stabalizer may be the key.
That particular photo doesn't give a lot to go by though.
What is the bolt pattern on rotors? More photos may be a help.
The Sevilles in those years were a bit like upgrade Novas and had a removable front subframe.
What does the truck have for a rear end under it? If it has a 10 bolt a big flange for the drive shaft to bolt to instead of a yoke for a U joint that could be Seville too. the Sevilles also had larger drums on the rear or disk on the rear.

Good hints guys- I shall do some investigating. The rear axle is also of unknown origins.
I'll be back.

It could be 70 something Monte Carlo too. the heavy stabalizer bar and attachment hole for the steering stabalizer are two clues.
