1972 GMC 4X4 longbed
This truck is complete with all parts needed to finish. Front fenders and cowling are sanded and primered ready for paint. Engine is a 350 that runs fair but needs new plugs and wires. All running gear is complete and working. I started to restore this truck for my son and he is no longer interested as he has got a newer vehicle. Truck has a 4 inch lift under it and I have many other parts. Three front chrome headlight bezzels, 2 or 3 guage pannels, too much to list. I am not interested in parting out this truck. reply only if interested in all. If I sell this vehicle then all exstra vintage parts will go to buyer. 1,000.00 OBO

Looks like a nice project. Where are you located? It may help to fill out your profile.

Sorry Phil I needed to do that, thanks for the reminder.
I bought this for my son and he decided he was not interested in this old rellic. Truth be told he got a 1999 Honda Accord and feels this truck is to much work. I just finished a restore on a 1980 International Scout ii and I think the restore may have got him thinking of how much time/work will be required to finish.

Am I asking too much for this project? and if so what would be a good asking price?

Welcome Troy, You are just down and across the river from me.
Well about 70 miles that is.

I don't think you are that far out of line on the price, I think I would post it on Craigslist if it were me. More photos might help, people want to see the condition of most of the pieces before making a road trip and although you are at a hub sort to speak it is a pretty good trip from The Seattle area, Spokane or
Boise.
The only other suggestion I have is to slick the body out to get it in primer, give it a tune up and advertise it as a driver. A couple of weekends of sanding, priming and assembly would make it a pretty presentable truck.

OK, I need this truck gone and I am willing to drop to $1,000. I can be reached at 541-980-5529. First $1,000 takes all. the running gear alone is worth that. 350 with auto tranny and 205 transfer case all works well.
