A question for the Advanced design restoration guys

This is a bit out of the norm for me as I usually am the guru of making changes on the trucks I am around.

As I have decided to go with the late 292 for power for the 48 I would like to paint the engine close to the original 48 engine color before I start putting on any dress up goodies. Now for the big question What is that exact color?
Blue as in the blue flame engines or ??????
I know I don't want go go back with orange and don't like black engines. I am leaning towards the early Chevrolet blue.

I did the engine for my 53 GMC a blue. There is a chevy blue. I think that was the original color then. I will dig around a little and see if i can find more information.

That is what I was thinking of. My idea is to make it look a bit like a dressed up early engine at first glance.
