Well, forgive me but this is a old Chevy and I did say "Off Topic". Im selling my 1980 Chevy Corvette. Ive owned this beauty FOREVER and it is time to say goodbye to her! Ive always called her my 6th child. It got a NEW GM Crate 350 about 4 months ago. I must say, it now can be called a rather FAST Corvette since it was born with a California 305. Yes, it was a slug! Now, it not only is a total head turner but it has a GM 3 year 100,000 mile warranty. Everything under the hood has basically been replaced. I do have all the California smog equipment if you happen to live in an area of emission testing. I would say it can all be installed within a few hours if the need be. I had a total strip and re-paint back in 1998 and it has ALWAYS been garaged. The car itself has 75k miles on it and the new motor has just over 1,000 miles. The motor replacement has so far set me back over $5,000 and the paint job back in 1998 was about $4500. This car gets comments everywhere I go. It has New Cooper Cobras on the original Corvette Rally wheels. I have 3,000 miles on a complete brake job, alignment, u-joints, shocks, and bushings. Inside there is a nice Kenwood C/D player that replaced the 8 track:eek: player. Im asking $10,000. or a trade for a very clean 71-72 Chevy SWB 4x4 truck. Im not pressured to sell, but if you ever had the "wants" for an older classic Corvette, this is the one! The only improvement I can see a new owner would want is to replace the original interior with new carpet and seat covers. There has been a tear on the driver seat for the past 6 years. New leather seats will cost about $700 already installed on new foam and ready to slip into the seat frames. About a 30 min job.

Thanks Ron. Its been a great car through out the years. If I get the 2007, Im thinking of going back east to pick it up and then make a really nice road trip back home with no time limits on when I return. It should be a fun trip if it actually happens. Just something to dream of and look foreward to. Im not getting any younger!

Any chance that a '71 GM 3/4 ton could interest you, Phil?
This beast has a 402 under the hood.
It is automatic, 2 wheel drive and has power steering & brakes.

I like the looks of your Corvette.
Perhaps there is a deal to be made.

Sounds like you have a nice truck Big Block. I already have a 71 3/4 but it's a Chevy. I also have a 70 with a BB. Im looking for a 71-72 4x4 SWB or Cash or both. Thanks anyway.

Phil, the picture leads me to believe your car is an Automatic.
Does it have A/C?

That is quite a distance from Oregon. Might I still suggest that you fill out your profile. Most guys like to know a little about who they are dealing with.
