I finally got my 70 gmc back on the road. For anyone who remembers I blew the 383 stroker last fall. It had two broken pistons, broken camshaft and crankshaft, busted connecting rods, cracked block, and two bullet holes through the oil pan. Nice to have it back.
Well what did you get it on the road with? Another stroker motor? Glad to hear it's up and going again. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com (http://www.ClassicHeartbeat.com)

I now have a 350, 60 over. I salvaged the intake and the carb. Water pump and fuel pump. I had a 383 stroker. Paid 5000 canadian for it. That is about 2800 in real money. I have about 120 miles on this engine. Takin it easy for awhile. Accidentally squawked the tires a couple times though. You know how that goes. I couldn't even use my old block. What a bummer, good lesson though. Don't race three cars in a row, make sure my tach is working. live and learn, and in my case throw mucho dough at my truck. Boy I love her though. Nothin prettier to me than the front end of a 69-72 gmc chrome grill.
