I've got a 70 Chevy C10 that I'm working on, with the stock 12-bolt (3.08) rear end, that I'll be staying with. I'd like to convert to rear discs, and I've heard about using a bracket that will accept callipers and rotors, as well as other parts from (I think) the Cadillac Eldorado, and also from the IROC/Z28 Camaro. Anyone had any experience with this conversion? what works well, etc? Any input would be appreciated.

You mean this kit, this was from TSM in Colorado, a little more but beats buying crap at the salvage yard.It uses the caddy calipers and rotors and this rear end is from a 72 chevy.

There is a bracket set on ebay right now that uses calipers from the mid 90's Impallas. Looks simple enough, that I might burn my own brackets.

There is a ebay vendor that has everything from the brackets to the complete kits. He caters mostly to the 4X crowd but I like the look of what he advertises.

I plan to get his kit for the dana 60 in my 71.
There are also a couple of sites that show patterns for the brackets but I think if a guy searches around a bit they aren't all that spend.
