Your on one of the best sites now, if you plan on doing a ground up restoration the factory assembly manual Wes carries shows every nut bolt washer, spot weld, part, electrical diagram etc on these trucks GMC or Chevy. The service manuals for Chevy are available from him reproduction also but do differ from GMC in some areas such as electrical, grill area, and engine where they provide info on 305 & 351 V6 motors used in the GMC's only. You can occasionally find the GMC service manual on ebay and we generally can find used ones at good swap meets.

Greetings Cda55...
Yes,Yes,Yes...Both Wes and GMCPaul or GMCPaul and WES will be able to help you out on your new project. Both are very knowledgeable about these trucks and honest with ya in their dealings. Thats what made this Truck Hobby so enjoyable is all the great guys and gals who are willing to help each other out. We are family growing day by day! On a rating of 1-10 I would give both WES and GMCPaul a rating of at least a 20!!
Remember Cda55...anyone can drive a Ford or a Dodge Truck, but it takes someone special to own and drive a 67-72 Chevy/GMC Truck.
Happy Trails,

I thank all of you that have responded. I've had a 55 chevy Belair for years.( I'm only 30 now) But that is still my love. I was offered a good deal on this one and thought I should build it too. Nothing better then to take **** and make it sugar. Clinton

Talking about Tri-Fives...Classic Truck Magazine had an extensive article on the 67-72 Chevy Trucks and basically it was said these trucks are reaching the icon status as the Tri-Fives. Maybe GMCPaul still has their sight address. I was not able to locate it. The article read that the classic looks of these trucks were never lost throughout the years and these trucks have always been in demand because of looks and options that were avaiable on these trucks. The 4x4 and loaded BB SWB trucks were the first to take off and then CST BB loaded with options truck quickly followed. Now any truck is a hot item. I like all
67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks regardless of their options. They just look American. These series of trucks are known as the Custom Sports Trucks (CST). You will also find out how friendly and helpful the owners of these trucks are which also reflects the type of people who originaly owned these trucks. We're just kind of common folk family type people and we don't raise our nose if a truck isn't decked out with a $10,000 paint job.
Have a great week!!!

I'll agree with LMC catalog being a must have catalog to have by the crapper, but there tech support and knowledge belongs IN the crapper.
Once in a while they have a price that you can't beat, and sometimes they actually get the parts right. But I'll stick by my saying about LMC...the only thing they sold me that fits properly...is the hat on my head.
But they do ahve an awsome catalog though.
