I got the rear diff dislodged from the swing arms , time to wire brush and de grease , the brake backing plates have been sand blasted and new wheel cylinders new spring kit ( not all springs were included ) some had to be ordered seperatly(E- Brake), the e -brake cables cleaned and oiled , dropping the swing arms are next I may take them to some one else to have them blasted and painted along with the frame I searched the site and I could not find the new bushings for the front of the swing arms , and I was wondering if the tracking bar can be re bushed ? or just replaced with new ?
all new brake lines and hoses new u joints and carrier bearing tranny has been rebearinged and sealed the motor is done sitting on the engin stand waiting for placment the worst thing is Im faily good as the mechanic but body work is all hit and miss.
I was very happy to read the part about metal etching paint first in the 67 project story I have kept that in mind while shopping for body materials ,
I will have to worry about the moisture problem as I do not have a shop per say to control the humitity and summer is my dawn to dark work time
