the bed is spoken for already, I think it was being done as I was posting it. will check to see what else is spoken for. Have a stepside long bed for a 67 instead of the fleetside bed for a 69 I guess. I have him in the garage right now with paper and pen making a list. Will post as soon as I find out whats there.

Do not need parts but if you put an asprin on that tooth & let it disolve it will do wonders.

hey I am finally back after major issues, tooth still there ( go to oral surgeon tomorrow). almost ending up in hospital, thyroid shut down, my husband said he was married to a dead person, or near dead and he was trading me in for a newer model. I guess a 61 wasn't working for him anymore. HA HA HA

well we found a 67 that we are working out a deal with the neighbor on buying. so some of the things we are going to be keeping to go on it. I do know that if anyone close needs back glass out of the 69 it is in one piece and it is going. but until we actually get the 67 and start looking. I do know for sure that we are changing the bed on the 67. It has a stepside longbox right now it is coming off. so if anyone is interested there. but like I said it probably won't be for another month before that happens. The original had wood floor (will have to be replaced) but they covered it with steel, (will know more later for ya all)
Thanks for the help on the tooth.

Hi sorry to hear about the tooth problems and the Job I have been there and got the t-shirt it sucks for sure. I just got over some health issues and it cost me a job and lots of money in the end. but anyway.
I 'am in need of a long bed step or fleet I'm not worried about that as long as the steel is in good shape.
I have a utilty bed that I have no real use for and would like to lightend up my 71 GMC lol. If you could let me know what you plan on doing with the step.
Thanks Eric

Clove oil works well also....

clove oil is like impossible to find anywhere, so good luck with that, the dentists put a piece of clove in the tooth if its rotted busted up like 2/3 of mine in the past have been, were, only two left to go right now that are busted rotted down to gums, and ill be down to 11 teeth including one last wisdom

teeth suck, are evil, can live without the ****ed things!

oragel seems ot work pretyt good most of the time, the cheap equate brand at wally world, actually says orasol gel on the tube, max strength, oral anesthetic, 0.25 oz

thats about all can do, other than vicodin or ibuprofen, ibuprofen is a good one for a while but after so much use of it it tends to not work anymore, for a long time i literally lived on ibuprofen cuz of teeth rot pain all the time makes you want to grab a gun to your own head and pull trigger im glad i dont own a gun..

good luck

Hopefully the tooth ache has gone away by now,but if it is still lingering with pain try this. first go to wally world or cvs pharmacy and get the clove oil from the pharmacist(sold behind the counter now)then get a black pepper clove.put a clove of the black pepper onto a cotton ball soak it down with clove oil put it in the bad tooth cover it with another cotton ball. Then bite down and leave for as long as you can stand it,about or atleast an hour or two.do this for two days, and the the nerve in the tooth will die..

Well the tooth is no longer bothering me. I think I would have found a gun and used it, if it hadn't quit hurting.

Back to better things now, We got the 67 chevy c10 and either the clutch or tranny is slipping. so we want to put in automatic. how do we go about doing that? and what all parts do we need to change out? I know this is probably the wrong post to be putting this sorry Wes. We still don't know what motor we have, can't find the #'s any help would be great. we are going to go with floor shifter.

Thanks for all the help with the tooth, you guys are alot cheaper than a dentist. lol

Clove oil and tylenol usually handle tooth aches if it dont At least get some antibiotics to fight infection! Snake root works well to but it is hard to locate in Kansas. For future references!

I grew up on a farm in Nebraska, and I ain't never seen no snakes that had roots on em. lol!! Lots of antibiotics, tylenol (extra strength) and oragel
and ice packs after about a week the pain started to fade, (or else I got so use to it its not bothering me anymore) lol. Oral surgeon is next, but we have a 67 to redo, so he's going to have to wait. Thats my word not Ran Man's.

Wes maybe we need to start a post on medical advice too. LOL You guys have all been GREAT!!!!!!! THANKS

LOL! Snake root is the actual root under a particular flower that grows in Oklahoma. It is a main ingredient in the famous "Novacaine". Which is what dentists use to numb there patients!

I had a toothache so bad one time, I held my Grandson ( 5 months old at the time) in my Left arm and pulled the tooth with my right hand.. Battery pliers are just about the right curvature to do this with!!!! Yes, It hurt but actually felt better then feeling the pain from that tooth......

I did not have insurance and no spare money for the dentist....
