have an68 c20 lwb in really good shape. i really wanted a stepside but got an exceptional deal on this one. since i'm going to do a frame-up, thought I would go all the way. maybe can i cut my chassis and weld it? am told that this is dangerous. advice anyone? :confused:

It is not dangerous if done correctly. You would be far better off though to purchase a short bed chassis to do the conversion. Short bed chassis can be purchased for between $200.00 and $400.00 pretty easely. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Don't cut it! My frame was cut and rewelded and I went to the trouble of finding and replacing mine under the '68! It looks better and you also know it will run straight!
