Hey Guys,
I'm trying to locate various parts for my truck. I pulled this truck out of the woods on our property when I was 15, I did a bunch of stuff that a typical teenager would do when fixing it up..... stuff that I could kick myself for now... and took a lot of good original parts to the junk yard. ANyhow, after driving it for 16 years... and now at 32 years old I want to get the truck looking like it originally did. If you have any of these parts for sale at reasonable prices, or want to trade, please let me know. I may also have some parts of interest to you or others. Many thanks in advance...
TOny

16" 6 bolts would be great to find, ive never seen a set persoanlly yet, too uncommon/rare, did your truck come with 16" 6 lug originally ? listed on the glovebox SPID label ?

i had a 71 c-10 pickup that had 16" wheels listed on it, but were gone when i got the truck, was normal 5 lug 1/2 ton pickup, i have a pic of the spid label somewhere still

if you locate a set of 16" 6 luggers then let us know or just me, im real curious to see if you locate any

good luck

yes but Tony is loking for original 16" 6 ;ug steel wheels that were avaialble optionally for this era of trucks in particular

the 6 lug aluminum 80s and 90s wheels wont fit the older trucks because the hub bearing hole in the late wheels is too small to fit on the rotor and axle hubs of the 87-older trucks

good luck

I understand what he wants....the Chevy 16" 6 lug on the stock 3/4 ton in 95 is steel & will fit.
If you are set on orignals - let me look in my backyard, I think I have a set still on my 53', with the caps....I will let you know later today.

Tony.
I only have two hubcaps left....I have 4 rims, but I think they're the older style with the moon shaped caps- 50 to 54 style...sorry.

Hi Guys, thanks for your help. I've been away for a few days. Half of the sticker in the glovebox is ripped off. Unfortunately the side with the wheel option. I am 90% sure that it had 16 inch rims on it. Do you know if there is any way of getting an original list of options using your VIN?

SOrry.. forgot.
Hambiskit, I am interested in the rims if they are stock for my truck.
Jose, because of shipping costs/ hassles, I think that I will wait to see what I can find closer.
p.s. Jose, I know that dent!!!! I had the same one on my old door caused by the door swinging open too far... broken hinge eh?
Thanks

No - these were white at the begining.
I am sorry that I even responded, I'll throw them back into the shed & forget it.
Good Luck Tony...

Thanks Hambiskit and Fast68Chevy. I know that you are both trying to help and I really appreciate it. I didn't really know what was involved in shipping, and there are enough of these old trucks around where I live that I will try to find some of the heavy parts around here. Again thanks,
Tony
