I'm installing a tuned port fuel injected motor into my 68 shortbox and i need to know if anyone has any ideas on converting my linkage throttle into a cable style. i have a pedal assembly from a 72 cab but as most of you know, the bolt pattern is diferent and i would also have to drill a new hole in the firewall for the cable.
With a bit of work i'm sure i can make the 72 assambly work but if anyone has any ideas on how to make the stock linkage style work please let me know ......

no, not without fabrication and or welding

i find that rod style linkage is easier to modify for any application, rods are easy to modify, and cables are a pain because brackets vary greatly.

all depends on how you look at it

good luck
