Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place to get the different rust repair panels for the 73-87 pickup is? My buddy is building one for mud racing so we are not super concerned with high quality as long as it will fill the holes that are everywhere more than any one place. Parts needed include a stepside fender, door shells cab corners, floor boards and front fenders. As I said there is not much left but he price was right.

Any thoughts would be great!

Thanks,
Mike

We have them here. Email me for price quotes. I haven't added the 73-87 stuff to our on-line catolog yet. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Well this one was not from TN. My buddy is still in WV. You are pretty hard pressed to find a vehicle over 10 years old that is not rusting away up there. For that matter I looked for one down here just for that reason and most of what I found wasn't much better than what he had. Those 73-8? just did not hold up. My dad bought a brand new 76 in in 76 and before it was 2 years old it had a gallon of filler in it from the rust holes. Those trucks were solid runners but the bodies were just horrible. You'd think they were jeeps, IH's or something. :D
