Well let me be the first one , This is one of my many ,I dont have enough money, projects . I'm wanting to put a 71-72 or a 73-87 front crossmember in so I can have disc brakes and not do away with the orginal frame .

Great looking old truck. I am happy to see that it will be saved and not tossed into the scrap heap... Good luck with it. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Great looking project! I love these old trucks. My brother had one he fixed up about 10 years ago. It was rough, but still a joy to drive. I should have bought it. Now it's sitting in a friend's farmyard and rusting away again. Good luck with yours!

My neighbor had a 47 and he used the sub frame from a 73 firebird to get disk brakes and power steering it fit good and you can get late 70 early 80s firebirds and commaros cheap. He even had a Pontiac 400 in it.
