I figured, let's start a new topic here. I''m new and so let me introduce myself.
I'm Marck, I live in the Netherlands and own a 1983 C10 Silverado Stepside custom, it''s completely rebuilt, some custom stuff here & there and jsut got a new interior with all new panels and parts, fresh carpet and leather upholstery.
I also own a 1982 Corvette, it''s in peices and I''m building it up as a road/race car (twin turbo engine, hence my handle, tricked out suspension, 6 speed tranny, magnesium/aluminium 3 piece race wheels.. and so on and so on...barely street legal)
Oh and my KB is shot (note '' instead of ')
Welcome to our boards.:) :) We hope that you enjoy them. Be sure and tell your freinds about them and lets see some pictures of your truck!! :D :D WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Marck , are you going to put that delete plate in that truck?
she sure is nice.... how much do those trucks sell for over there and how hard is it to get parts?

yeah, the delete plate is for that truck, I put in a new dash bezel and don''t want to cut it up for a readio so I mounted the radio under the dash (have remote in center console)
These trucks are not cheap, in the current state this truck would sell for about 18.000 Euros, that''s over 20.000 bucks. Parts aren''t hard to get, just expensive. I order from classic industries and then have to pay absurd amounts of shipping fees, import fees and tax. But seeing her all pretty and driving her around town makes it all worth it. It's the only 83 stepper here in the Netherlands. Today I treated her to a new fuel line system, away with the crummy hoses, I installed a Fram HPG-1 filter, -6 an lines & fittings and an edelbrock fuel line. No more unsightly fake braided stuff in there.

yours looks in pristine original condition. I really like that. All the others that drive around here in the Netherlands (maybe like 10 or so) are all rusty. The only nice one I ever saw was an early 70s one with Torq Trust IIs in 20 something inch, dropped and a big block with all kinds of fabricated aluminium parts.

no they are prime wheels but they look better than the welds cuase the lugs are recessed. I had ralleys on it before these

I like the ones on there now better.
My wheels are cheap chrome super spokes, someday I''ll get some nice wheels for it but I'm broke LOL, just spent my money on modular wheels for my corvette.

What are those seats out of? I want to redo mine with some sort of 40-20-40 combo. Does the center ceat fold down as a console? This is my current interior...

The seats are from Custom Trucks Of Texas and were in the truck when I got it, albeit covered with some type of ghey cloth so I had them redone in leather. Sorry I can't help you any further but do a google search o custom truck bench or something and there'll be a couple of links to cusom benches that are pretty similar and really nice
These look an awfull lot like mine and yes, the middle seat folds down and has a small compartment, armrest and cup holders on the back, also the middle seat bottom flips up to reveal a storage compartment which now houses my amp.
