Tach installation Q's.

I just installed a Mallory Unilite distributor with the Mallory Promaster coil. It replaced the troublesome HEI set up I had. My question is, which terminal does the wire for the tach go on....+ or - ??? I can't remember and can't find the instructions for the tach. The tach is an Autogage if that helps. Thanks!!!

Sorry about the last . The red tach wire goes to a switched battery connection and the one that goes to the coil is usually green and goes to the negative side of the coil. Black to a good ground and there is usually another wire like a white or yellow that will go to your light switch for illumination.
