I am in heaven. I just picked this up for a song with the help of hjalbert! It is a 1968 Avion Travel Trailer. The interior is dated but in almost perfect condition and I am going ot leave it alone. The outside is straight but needs a good polishing!

Next summer I am going to be spending a lot of time in San Diego near the Pacific Ocean!

I can't wait to get the bearing packed and get some new tires so I can hit the road to San Diego and spend some time near the beach!

Very cool, never seen one before, but how freaky, just got the latest edition of a Classic American, a mag I subscribe to over here in the UK and in the classified ads, exactly the same thing for sale £3000 (sterling) with a trashed interior.

Great looking trailer. Really cool that both items have such classic lines. These old trucks will still look good when cars fly and those trailers will too. Not like the rolling boxcars they make today.
I also had help from John recently. He and his wife are great. I hope to meet up with them again someday.

Ahh, got the wheel bearings packed and got the trailer out of the previous owners backyard. How do you think it looks with my burb http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/smile.gif

Looks great!! It kinda looks like your Burb can use some helper springs though.... http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/smile.gif http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/wink.gif WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com (http://www.ClassicHeartbeat.com)

Not helper springs, it needs NEW springs. After 35 years I am sure they have lost their support. http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/smile.gif
