Any one know when 4 wheel disc brakes used on Chevy pickup?
A nice sun roof for pickups?
Any one using a single 3 inch exhaust?
Any one moved battery to bed ..under tool box?
Any good places for speakers? under seat? in doors? Amp location?
Any easy cruise controls?
Any other step side owners?
Anyone using only external trans cooler with electric fan and t-stat?

OK frank...I'll give it a shot....Four wheel disc? not quite sure, but I'm willing to bet not 67-72?? Not to say you cant make it 4 wheel disc.
Sun roof...dont recommend
duallys all the way...let her breath
battery pretty simple...longer cables
speakers..anywhere you can hear them!!
cruise control.....a good stick, brick if your going on a long trip
tranny, no info
carpet kit...much prefer the pre-formed ones
hows that??? Just my two cents worth..:)

It is not well know but...... A single 3 inch exhaust pipe will flow over twice the output from a couple 2 inch pipes. Even 2.250...2 1/4 pipe will not flow the same.
Let it breathe indeed...

For the speakers amp move your gas tank under the truck using a blazer tank kit then you will a lot of room. for the trans Im using a 700r4 with a b&m cooler on it thats it never have had a problem with it and it had a 350 befor the 700 set up that way. for sun roof i wouldnt do it I have a 68 cab that I will probably never use it has a sunrrof in it its never leaked but its not my thing. for the cruise control find a tilt columne from a van with it in it and grab every thing under the hood to make it work or use locars kit. for every thing else and why move the battery its not a race car so whaght wont make that much diffrenc on handeling. Disk brakes for the coast of a disk break rear you can build one awsome 12 bolt up with a disk kit gears diff every thing I think the disk rears sell for almost 2000 in the salvage yards.

Frank,
There are many that have the four wheel disc on their trucks, All aftermarket work, or custom install. I have disc on front, done with aftermarket kit, along with lowered spindles and springs.
Yes, Three inch done right will flow better then duals, something about exhaust pulses.
Moving battery to bed is an easy do, Summit and others have the kit, or buy battery box and heavy battery wire seperate and go for it.
Put speakers where you feel comfortable with them. I have four behind the seat in the interior panel under the rear window,Two in the doors, two in kickpanel speaker panels, and two subs in boxes where gas tank used to be, and two tweeters on dash.
There is a few cruise control kits out there in the $100.00 range, I have no personal experience with them though.
I am also a short step owner.
I use an external tranny cooler plumbed also through the stock radiator one, No external fan or Thermostat though.
I used a carpet kit, Very easy install. Remove seat, gas pedal,(on years necessary) door sills. would advise a carpet pad kit and some insulation of some kind. (I did a spray on truck liner on my floor boards)
I usually stop by, a few time a week and see what's going on. If I can help or have something to say, I do. otherwise I surf right through.
Sun roof, Sorry no experience of any kind with them in our trucks. Even though I have contemplated it, or "T"-tops.
Nice Delorean !! Ace Frehley liked them too......( he destroyed his !)

No idea, I have four wheel drums though so at leats mine all match!
A nice sun roof for pickups?
Get a sliding rear window instead
Any one using a single 3 inch exhaust?
Nope
Any one moved battery to bed ..under tool box?
No but I guess it would be easy enough to attach some kind of shelf/box to the frame rail and extend the cables

two 6x9 JBL's in the door bottoms (previous owner had already cut doors) and two JBL 4"ers going into home made fibreglass pods on the kick panels soon. No amp at the moment, but considering a small one under the seat.
Any easy cruise controls?
No idea on this
Any other step side owners?
Nope, long fleet
Anyone using only external trans cooler with electric fan and t-stat?
Nope
Anyone install a carpet kit?
Just bought a new carpet and soundproofing kit from Wes (brought it home in my baggage from a recent US vacation!) Looks to be great quality but I have some work to do to the floor (a couple of holes to weld up and a coat of rustproofing paint) before i can fit it.
Anyone here?? Frank

Setting aside turbidity for a moment... a 3" pipe is simply larger than a pair of 2" pipes--
3" ... 1.5 x 1.5 x pi = 7.07 inē
2" ... 1 x 1 x pi = 3.14 x 2 = 6.28 inē
