Hey all the truck came home yesterday and I think I have Frankenstien. The cab is a 67 (small back window)front end is 71? I think (big open grill) stripped out the interior and it has two holes in the floor about the size of a soft ball. (I'm thinking 4x4 cab)and it has front disk brakes. And the guy told me it was original except for the grill. Now to my question this truck is a long box and I have found a short box fleet frame and at one time I saw pics of a home built dolly-stand to set the cab on while I which things out. If anyne could help me out with this that would be great.

RE: Dolly stand for cab.
We sawed the top off of a grocery cart and used the base and casters. We layed a couple of 4x4's across the base that fit under the full width of the cab and it worked great. We were able to move the cab around the garage quite easily. Don't cost nothin'

it might cost you a trip to jail if you get caught stealing that grocery cart.

I used the grocery cart for a engine dolly.Works great when storing the motor for a coupla month's errrr I mean years.I have my cab up on a coupla 4x6 that run in line with the outrigger's I can roll the cab up on the firewall and work on the floor boards, braces etc.Works good but if your gonna take it in&out and store it, the dolly would be the way to go
