THE BLOWER FOR MY HEATER MOTOR IS SQUEEKING PRETTY LOUD. ANY WAY TO LUBE IT WITHOUT TEARING THE WHOLE THING APART? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

NOPE! After going through the work of takin' it out you may want to replace the blower motor, cause you may sneak some oil in there to quiet it down for now but, it will come back soon.

My grand father showed me a way to do it...but you may as well replace it after the labor you'll spend doing it.
Remove the blower motor.
Drill a small hole in the center of the body, right over the shaft.
Spray some graphite, or some synthetic grease in there.
Use some Smurf-goo (permitex type RTV) to seal up the hole.
Reinstall.
It can last another 10 years, and even be quiet.
However, since a new blower motor would only set you back 25 bucks or so, it might be better to replace it.
Oh, the drill a hole thing doesn't always work either.

TIP
If you replace it, get one for a Caddy...they blow harder. http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/wink.gif That's the plan here.

Are the blower motors available new if so where from? Mine does squeal on high speed sometimes.

Yes, you can get the blower motor most anywhere. I would do what longhornman says and get a caddy blower motor. That's the best part of GM, that blower motor fits most of their veichles.

Any particular years on the caddy blower motor? I may try and find a secondhand one as there are probably more Caddys in the UK than anything else and so a fair few in specialist breakers.

I keep forgetting your across the pond.
Yeah, if the motor looks the same, it'll work. I think some of the newer ones won't work, but mostly I'm thinking of the ones that are longer and heavier than our trucks...including my Longhorn. http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/wink.gif
