does any body have a sway bar on the front or rear of there 3/4 ton 4x4? I am thinking that a sway bar front and rear would be a good for towing my travel trailer and car trailer.

I have both front and rear sway bars on my 72 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4 and a front one on my 72 4x4 Blazer. I like them, I think the trucks handle a lot better and I tow a 24' boat trailer with mine. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com (http://www.ClassicHeartbeat.com)

I used the front sway bar out of later model 4x4s. I think it was a 78 or something. If you want to use one you will need to pull the U-bolt top plates of the doner. Those are what the front sway bar mounts to. You will have to fab something on the front of your front frame crossmember to bolt the frame brackets to though and for a rear sway bar I used an aftermarket one. I don't remember who made it though, but I will try to figure it out for you. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com (http://www.ClassicHeartbeat.com)

I was looking at parts from a company in New Jersey called "Just Suspensions". They have an ad in the latest issue of Hot Rod magazine. It says they have all kinds of suspension items including sway bars for classic cars and trucks. Might wnt to look them up.
