Those are either painted wrong, or not '70. The center bow tie should be blue.

Those are 73+ If you need a Pic of a true 70 cap let me know. They are hare to find in good shape. The top of the 70 cap is a little taller. Almost impossible to see in a Pic from straight down

Longhorn man....I dunno...Those are the exact hubs caps that came on my truck all five of them...Color matchup is same as mine. Maybe the elcheapo models like mine used that..I can't see the original owner replacing five hubs caps on my truck.

Every original one I have ever seen, including the 6 I have here, and the 4 I had before all had blue bow ties.
You say 5? The spare never came with a hub cap as original did it?

Blue bowties were the correct color... I am not necessaraly looking to get correct....LOL I just want to cover up the ugly axle and lug nuts... I had a set with red bowties in the center, but I sold them to protrucks...LOL I also have 3 GMC white with black letter ones, but the truck is a Chevy...... Just something I'll throw out there. I noticed that the bowtie on the grill of my `67 was red and the bowtie on the grill of the `71 was blue. I was thinking that if I had a white bowtie I could make a little patriotic statement.

i will check my hub cap collection from my 70 gmc 1ton. i know the last set i got off ebay were nice shiny aluminum with a red "gmc" in the center. I believe i have 3 chev caps and 3-4 beat up gmc caps that are original.
let me add something. I also have 3 original 1/2 ton gmc caps. i will try to post a pic of all. and for the record i put some cheap 16" crome mods on my rusty truck. now it at least looks like i am working on it!!

Yup, and here are the stainless ones. My old Longhorn had this style, I also have 2 white ones with blue, and one gray and black one with the blue bow tie and 2 stainless.

And here is one of all the proper ones I have at the moment.

I guess the original owner of my truck wasn't as frugal as I thought. I would figure this farmer to invest in new hubcaps. OH well learn every day.
Got to admit the blue doies look better far as I am concerned
