Fellow members: Anyone have any events in the Pacific NW that we could meet up at for a visit. I think if we meet up maybe we can find more dedication to keep the club active. I have attended a event(good truck show and small swap) for a couple of years at the state fairgrounds in Salem Oregon. It is sponsored by a local GM truck club. It is all GM trucks only. This year it is on Sat. July 21. Anyone been to this or planning on going?

Mike;

I'll be there on the side lines. For the rest of you it is in Junction City Oregon Just North of Eugene. Also there will be a car show on River road Sat. and an informal cruise in North Eugene Saturday evening, all good events. Anything in Corvallis this summer?

Function was great. I've never seen so many cool rides in one place. I'll check on Corvallis events. I know that Big O Tires and Napa have something every year.

Mike;

I was all set to go up to Junction City and my 5 yr old son tossed my keyed down roof drain at 7pm Friday. Short version of story is that it wrecked friday eve. and didn't get keys out till 9am the next day. (5 yrs with only one key since I bought truck...da!) Made it to the car show on River Rd. Sat. afternoon, very nice setup. Have you been to Grafitti Nights and car show Sat. July 7th in Roseburg? I have to go to wedding at Black Butte that day. This show and cruise is the nicest I've been to in Oregon. Only thing on Roseburg is cruise is 60 vintage and earlier. Show allows up to 72 vintage though. A must see for car buff, best show around unless you want to travel to Reno's Hot August Nights. (that I've seen)

later.

Thanks for the info but I can't make that. Seems I'm only alotted 2 good shows/cruises a year and I've been to both! LOL. I'm not sure who arranges my summer schedule but it gets crazy this time of year. Remember summer vacations, where you did nothing you didn't want to do. Man, I miss those days.
