Need to ask for your prayers today. Last fall I thought I might have a prostate problem. Lots of medication, but only an infection. Continued poroblems, finally x-rays and a real treat where they shove a camera up an out-port.

Seems to be tumors in my bladder. Today we begin the process of finding out if they are cancerous, surgery to remove them. I've never smoked but the odds are two out of three that I'm going to lose my bladder prostate and lymph glands sometime this month.

Taking it one day at a time and hopeful, God is in charge and things will be ok, but could use the prayers. Have to say I'm scared.

Thanks

Dale; Keep thinking positive. Everyone out here in Heartbeatland wishs you and yours the best.

My dad went through this about a year ago. Initial prognosis scared us all. He went through a series of treatments ( several of which were painful) but they filled his bladder with a cancer fighting drug each time (allows direct contact with cancerous cells) while they were scoping out the growths. After 2-4 months of that he was given a lot better outlook. So far his cancer is beat back. I'm not real familiar with the cancer but at first it was considered stage 4 I believe (well developed cancer). Last year at this time I did not think he was going deer hunting or parts swapping with me again. Last week we applied for deer tags and I plan to take him to a couple of swap meets this spring. Many of us take our health for granted until someone close to us has problems. Enjoy your family and fun each day and realize how precious our time is.

Let us know what we can do to help.

Good luck man. 13 months ago I was diagnosed with cancer.(testicular)They took one of my favorite parts and some other less important parts. Its a scary word! I was told after the radiation and surgery my chance of kids was 1 in a million. We found out 2 weeks ago my wife is 7 weeks pregnant! I guess I should play the lottery.Things have a way of working out, just keep the faith. If you need to talk e mail me and I will call you.My prayers are with you, Chris
