New to the board, so will start out with a couple of simple questions!!!
I am looking for a tilt wheel that will bolt in, and also a 12 bolt posi. Are these two things impossible to find at a reasonable cost? Are there any parts that are reasonable swaps, i.e. no major modifications?

If you are patent and have the $$ when the opertunity comes, they will show up.
Both items you ask about were stock options.

longhorn man is right. Welcome to our boards... these will go a long way for in locating the parts you want. Be pationt when you are looking for these parts and something almost nearly always will show up cheap. The tilt columns out of the Chev/GMC vans up to about 1978 are the same as our truck tilts from 69-72 with only a couple of differences. 1 is the lacation of the nutral safety switch on the column, the one on the van sets higher. 2 is the length of the lower shaft that sticks out of the end of the column. All you do to fix that is either take the column to a machine shop and have them shorten the spline shaft and respline it and cut a new groove for the tightning nut, or drill the nylon pins in the intermediat shaft and smack it on the end and it will colapce enough to make room for the added length. (I don't advicate this method because that is a safety feature of the intermediat shaft in case of an accedent.) The motorhomes clear into the 90s tilt column is the same as the van columns also.
