Need some advice guys !!

I'm installing a tuned port fuel injected motor into my 68 shortbox and i need to know if anyone has any ideas on converting my linkage throttle into a cable style. i have a pedal assembly from a 72 cab but as most of you know, the bolt pattern is diferent and i would also have to drill a new hole in the firewall for the cable.
With a bit of work i'm sure i can make the 72 assambly work but if anyone has any ideas on how to make the stock linkage style work please let me know ......

Hi racedvl. What exactly did you do to install the 72 throttle pedal? did u have to re drill the mountong holes? where bouts did u drill the firewall for the cable?
