I have an all origional 1970 custom stepside shortwheelbase that has the Inline 6 and 3 speed manual trans. The person I bought the truck from cut the E-brake cables out from under it for some reason and I think that it would be nice to have them for parking reasons, so it dont decide to role down a hill if first gear or reverse decide to turn loose. Does anyone know where I can find all new hardware from pedel to brakes or what do I need to do.

any help would be appreciated

We can provide some of the cables but you would need to find a doner truck in a wrecking yard to find some of the cable brackets. You might try calling a brake shop and seeing if they can do a full install on a new system. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com (http://www.ClassicHeartbeat.com)

I'm in the same boat with my `67. Someone cut the cables inside the rear hubs and removed all the hardware. Let me know what you find out.

WES I cant find the E-Break parts on your site can you let me know how much they are and if you have them in stock. also I want to change my 70 to power steering, will the power steering gear box off a 78 c10 fit with out modifying it or do I need to get the gearbox off a 67-72 chevy/gmc. I looked and the cable brackets are all there and a short piece of cable is there but not enough to even worry with. thanks for the help.

The last gearbox I swapped into my 71 GMC came from a 78 Blazer. They were identical so I would say they are probably all the same.
