Anyone have any info on replacing rockers?
I have new rockers, rocker backing plates, and front and rear floor pannels.
I need info on where the rockers and backing plates meet the floor edge.
The backing plates stick up over the weatherstrip channel. Do i use this, or just the edge thats on the floorpan that curves down to the rocker without the backingplate?
Any info or instruction would help greatly!

Most backing plates will have a "lip" on top that needs to be cut off to mate to the floor. Also most floor panels will have the rocker backing on them.

look at some of my phots and see if that helps. I am replacing the backing plates. The hole in the plate i had bolt into the upper cab support holes.
I didn't have to cut any lip off the top of my backing plates.

Thanks guys! http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/smile.gif It just looked looked like the weatherstrip edge would'nt be supported if i only use the floorpan patch.
I'll check them out again.

Which is the last you looked at?? I was adding photos as I sent that out...I am ready to install the new door jam once I get it, then cab corner and finally the outer rocker!! Then i get to tackle the door. It is rusted through.
