3/4 suburban frame

does anyone know if there is a differance between 1/2 & 3/4 ton framerails?Not the suspension just the frame.Don't ask why-it'd take too long to type!

They should be the same just differnt springs front and rear,balljoints and rear diffs.

I have one of each. The steel appears to be the same thickness. and all the rest is the same
