I have a 1972 Chevy Custom/10 I am getting ready to put a 1967 Bed on it. I am adding the blazer tank under the rear of the truck and was wandering if anyone had done this. I would like to have a complet working gas door with the filler neck inside of it. Does anyone have any good Ideas on what one to use for this. I know I need a 1 1/4 or a 1/38 inlet size, but do not want to have to crawl under several trucks trying to find the right one. I see people using a S10 gas door for the behind the light gas door. Being I will have a 67 bed it has no lights so this wont work. My plan is to go to a junkyard and cut one out of the side and have my body man weld it into the side of the bed going on my truck. Any help would be great. Sorry for it being so long.
