Need Center A/C Vent

Hey Guys,
I'm in need of a new or top notch (no blemish's) used center A/C vent for a 71 (or 72) Chevy pickup. I only want a GM vent too. I put a brand new one in my restored pickup and all the chrome on it just disappeared and turn yellow. The part that swivels stayed ok (but its metal),but the rest of is plastic and i don't know what happened to it?!?!? Email me or call me at 931-473-5401

Was the one that you bought a reproduction or a Genuine GM? The Genuine GM center vents have a plastic frame also and also peel. I also am not sure if you can get new Genuine GM any more. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com (http://www.ClassicHeartbeat.com)

I think it was an aftermarket vent,don't really remember,but your probably right !
Whats a man to do if you can't get one that destorts like this ??? I'd paint plastic part for alittle bit ! What do ya think ?
