Here is why I been going so slow on the Longhorn/caddy cross breeding.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/attachment.php3?s=&postid=145854
Not only am I making her all pretty and stuff, i am so sick of doing the kitty litter dance on my parking spot to clean up the Exxon Valdez sized oil slick, that I am doing everything in my power (short of welding on all the tin) to keep the oil INSIDE the engine.
Opinoins?
(The blue is factory issue GM corp blue for the era of the engine, and the intake is sprayed aluminum becouse it not only brakes up the solid pastel color, but it looks faster this way http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/wink.gif and besides...I ran out of blue ans was NOT going to buy a whole can for just the intake.)

As if it wasn't on the back burner already...it is going further back...I think on just a warming shelf. http://classicheartbeat.com.westserver.net/ubb/frown.gif
Looks like in the next week or two, I'll be moving out and can't take it with me. It is safe and sleeping quite well in the driveway here, and this way I can take my time on it (even more) and get it closer to right. I know the spare cab will be on it before it sees current tags...I have no place to store tha cab, and its either get rid of it, or install it and fix the minimal rust at a later date.
*sigh*

Cool beans mike. Thanks again.
It is chained up, and under the tarp like I had promised. After they tried steeling the wife's blazer...I double checked that the hoist was in fact locked.
And I am looking forward to seeing that new rig...I'll have my digi-cam with me too...guranteed.
