NOS = "New Old Stock". My expectation on someones claim of this is that they are new parts directly from GM and never installed on a vehicle. Stamped from the molds when Gm still owned them. Should be the best quality of part you can get. These parts are often left in a stock room at a dealership somewhere and never sold. Sometimes people bought them and had them stored all these years and have never used them. Does anyone knwo when most of these parts were discontinued from GM?
