Friend WTB- TH 400

I am trying to help a friend at work. What I know is this. He has a GMC 3500 4x4. The transmission and transfer case were changed to a 700 R4 and t-case. The 700 is slipping in second and third. He purchased a 350 and NP203 and told me he could not get it to bolt up, so I sold it for him. He now is looking for a TH 400 as he has been told it will bolt up to both his big block and the t-case from the 700 R4 with no changes. Anyone know for sure if this is correct and if so does anyone have one around the North K. C. area or N. Mo. ? Please include year if known and price. I will let him know. Thanks.
