I'm about to undertake the task of refurnishing the bed of my 1967 Longbed Pickup. Does anyone have any suggestions or quick methods as far as using wood or welding metal in it? Or has anyone done this that can give me some tips? I could use some. Also, what about that spray-in-bedliner? Would you recommend it? Let me know, I could sure use some help!

Hey there bear. I have completely redone my bed with metal and have a sprayliner in it also. I ordered two bed halfs for the floor from the LMC catalog. I mig welded those together and they worked great. The spray liner also hides small imperfections. I do like the look of the wood bed, but it is to high maintenance for me. If you want any info let me know. Good luck with your project.

70gmc,
Thanks for the suggestion, I was seriously considering that route and now I think that I might just have to do that! Did you order it from the LMC Classic Catalog specialized for the year of your truck (for example: I get the catalog for 67-72 Chevy Trucks, and those parts are pretty expensive though) Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much did the whole project put you back? I know the spray-in is, in itself 2-$300, right? I'm not too well versed on the prices of these type of projects and it would greatly help me if you could just give me a sort of ballpark figure for "everything" that you did with yours. Thanks bud, I appreciate your help!
